our rooms are just one of the reasons why.
Birch Bend MotoLodge is a small motel, only eight rooms. All of our rooms have a private bath, small refrigerator, and satellite TV. There are two singles which each have one double bed and these rooms have a full tub in the bath. We try to reserve these rooms for singles only. There are two doubles which each have two double beds and these rooms have a stall shower in the bath. The three kings are just that: each one has a king bed and stall shower in the bath. And last but not least is our queen-kitchenette which has a queen size bed, stall shower in the bath, table for 2, kitchen area with hand sink, counter-height fridge, microwave and coffee maker - all the fixins' are included, too!
Our rooms are clean and cozy. We use extra comfy linens and towels and the king and queen mattresses are new. There is a desk and sitting area in each room. There are tables and chairs outside your room for relaxing and the doors are at the back of the motel so it's very private. We don't have a/c, but there are fans in the rooms if it gets uncomfortable... luckily in the mountains we don't experience long heat waves!
